The New Barge


After a few years of looking for an inexpensive solo-length canoe, lo and behold I found one just down the street!! And from a former student, nonetheless. It was his dad's, who passed away, so I'm going to make sure it gets taken care of. 
Its maiden voyage and Supe's too!
Checking out the beaver den at Hinckley.



Once she settled in, Supe enjoyed the peace and rhythm of paddling. Quite a bit different from trail running, and I think we were both ready for something like this.


My first passion will always be rivers and poking around in a boat.
