WHAT'S WITH ALL MY FLAT TIRES LATELY?
If you missed Jeff Cochran's post on facebook, then you really missed out:
"Sat on a rock and soaked up the sun watching that amazing creature soar about 20 graceful circles riding the currents high into the sky until it was satisfied. It then tucked into a dive. In what seemed like a moment, it sped out of sight leaving me energized for 8 hours at Station 3."
Incredible.

It's hard to come down from that one, but at least I can say that Egg and I tried to transcend a bit tonite. I won the Stare-Down-The-Budha contest:
Okay, we both won. Because it was one of those nights when the ride was just the ride. It wasn't about strava or being first or big rides or any of that distracting stuff. Yeah, we found a new place, and yeah we basically got kicked out of a drive-thru by some douchebag who though we were holding up traffic with our bikes (their beer selection sucked anyway), and yeah, the Oberon we bought was almost two years old, and yeah, I'll admit I was a little cranky at the start of the ride, but damnit, it was good just to get out while the sun was shining. Which brings me to:
The Universal Principal of Cycling:
There's never a bad ride.
