Artemis and the Pack

Rest In Peace, Rogie

The son of a highly regarded sire, Rogue was originally bred for stud, so he spent much of his "puppy" year in a cage, making it difficult for him sometimes to understand how to play and enjoy the company of others. But with the careful love of his guardian angel Artemis he matured into a gentle giant, a Very Good Dog who was loved by many, including his brother Zoltan, and his sisters Zena, Katie, Bonnie, and Supai. He loved to "roar" when he was at the beach or when he knew we were going for a walk. He was scared of low, rumbling noises, and we could always tell when a thunderstorm was approaching! The Roguester loved food and was always the first in line at supper time. Put him in the back seat of a car, and you wouldn't even know he was there. When he did something wrong, he liked to pretend that he was invisible, and he would walk slowly and carefully, so that nobody could see him and accuse him of eating the pizza off the counter, or some other terribly embarrassing misdemeanor. He was a big, old bearsy wearsy. A brave trooper till the end, he showed the strength of a Rogue Warrior. He was an important member of our pack, we're gonna miss him.
