Some people just aren't ready for the big time, apparently. Despite the build up, the hype, the anticipation, some person decided that instead of witnessing....witnessing....the...uh.....the majesty, the power, the glory, the opportunity to ride to 2ton Falls, then drink, then try to find their way home from the primal power that is 2ton Falls, they would rather sleep in and text "damnit" knowing full well that "damnit" is one of those seemingly all-purpose bag out responses that seemingly gets one's bag out of the sad embarrassment and ridicule that HE KNEW WAS COMING! And it did:
That's the look of a person, a father, the god-damn pater familias ("you stole from my kin!...that don't make no sense") as he searches for the prodigal son, and prodigal you are, my child. Actually, this photo also captures approximately the moment when the elder son suddenly realized he didn't know where his bike was, despite the fact that he had placed it behind the falls just a few minutes before embibing a quantity greater than the agreed upon plan of imbibation.
BREAKING NEWS: Pops can still out-imbibe both of his sons. Today's result: one confused son, one incapacitated son. Kids these days...
A couple of bike selfy's:
Roll on, mighty 2ton falls, roll on.
A hot bike:
And all's well that ends well:
